Randall County Sheriff's Posse

The Sheriff's Posse is a riding club formed by L.S. "Slim" Johnston, former Randall County Sheriff in the mid 1960's.  Since that time, the Sheriff's Posse has stood ready to assist the Sheriff as a volunteer group upon request.

What We Do

The Sheriff's Posse provides a number of opportunities for members to explore their riding skills.  From young to old, we have activities to suit all.

The Sheriffs Posse participates in the following activities throughout the year:

• Competitive Trail Class
•  Parades 
• Playdays
• Rodeos
• Trail Rides
• Search and Rescue
• and other varying activities
